Collection Spotlight // Mix + Match
The Mix + Match collection is something I've had in my head for ages now... although the idea kept changing and growing as these things do! Originally I just wanted to create an alphabet collection with colourful letters but after doodling water colour patterns for months the two finally came together into this fun new range! I love that this collection gives everyone the chance to mix and match colours and patterns to make something perfect for them. For us it's really exciting to see what combo you've come up with when the order comes in! You can mix and match 8 patterns with 5 colours meaning there's a massive 40 designs for your personalised mug, print or mirror.
After playing with shapes and colours we came up with simple shaped glitter earrings which are a lovely little accessory. At the moment these are just available in rainbow glitter but I do think some other colours may have to join them soon.
I'd love to hear what you think of the new collection! You can see all the new goodies here.

Collection Spotlight // Those Who Make & Sew
sketchbook pages
autumn brights // Design Seeds // those who make colour inspiration

RockingStitch // those who sew colour inspiration
We are so excited about the launch of our latest collections. The original drawings for these had been in my sketchbook for ages just waiting to be turned into finished designs and filled with pretty colours. After the success of our Good Things Come to Those Who Bake collection I'd been thinking about other possibilities for 'good things' designs. The obvious one for me was 'make' or 'create' as I knew it was something I would buy as a designer-maker! It was really tricky deciding which objects to include in it as there's so many creative tools and materials but I think there's a good balance in the end. I wanted a bright colour palette which included a fuchsia or maybe some jewel tones and ended up having a browse on Design Seeds. This is one of my new favourite inspirational online places! I've been following on Instagram for a while now, everything is just so dreamy.
Lots of you had been requesting a sewing themed illustration so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to develop 'Those who Sew'. The main inspiration for our new sewing design was a colour palette from the fabulous RockingStitch, I just love Barbara's branding colours!
You'll notice a cute new font along with a sweet heart shape print. At the moment these designs are only available in mugs, prints and pocket mirrors. You'll find out why soon as we'll hopefully have some news about new suppliers. If you head over to our Facebook or Instagram you'll see we have some giveaways running until Friday if you'd like to enter. We're really happy with how the new designs turned out and hope you love them too!

Collection Spotlight - If Mothers Were Flowers I'd Pick You
We've been doing a lot of blog planning recently; looking at our more popular posts and thinking about what we like writing about most to try and help encourage us to blog more regularly. We've come up with a few new regular features including this which is the Collection Spotlight - a little look at our latest collections where we'll share our favourite new products and the inspiration behind them. As well as that David will get back to writing his In the Studio posts which had great feedback last year and we'll be designing more cute free downloads for you guys.
Our latest collection is the flowery goodness that is 'If Mother's Were Flowers I'd Pick You'. We wanted to come up with something simple and pretty in time for Mother's Day but also something really fresh and Spring feeling. The Spring vibe was a big part of it and pastels seemed the perfect choice! I think at this time of year we're all getting a bit sick of the colder weather and just want some warmth and colour back in our lives. You definitely get a sense of this with all the photos of snowdrops popping up on Instagram shared with excitement along with captions such as "Spring is nearly here!". Another reason for florals was that I've always wanted to design a floral print so this seemed like the right opportunity, I doodled lots of flower styles before going with a bit of a mix but couldn't resist adding a definite daffodil. These designs are available on most of our products including mugs, prints, cards, badges, mirrors and earrings. For Mother's day the pocket mirrors are such a cute little gift, especially for posting along with a card as a little keepsake. My favourites from the new collection have to be the floral pattern mug and the pink daisy stud earrings, they certainly make Spring feel that little bit closer. You can see the full collection here.
I hope you've liked this first Collection Spotlight post! Let me know what you think of the new designs in the comments.
